Have been playing around with my Rattler for a few days now and can say that the picture through this sight is awesome. As for as sharpness, not quite as crisp as my 640 resolution scope, but that is to be expected as it is a 384 resolution bolometer. But for 384 resolution it is outstanding. The picture is very clear and the contrast excellent. The picture just "pops". Whites are bright and blacks are dark. I'm finding myself becoming more and more fond of the fusion palette in this scope. Most other scopes I've viewed through using Fusion were not that impressive as the orange tended to overpower everything else and didn't give much contrast with the purple but the Rattler picture has distinct separation between the edges of things and the orange and purple are well contrasted so it is actually useable as a color palette. I am very pleased with the scope and its performance.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The optic itself is extremely well built. I love all of the extra color pallettes it has as compared to some of the other models. The only drawback to this thermal, is the fact that it does not have built in wifi broadcasting for recording. You can buy external modules to achieve this, but the external wifi module does not work well on newer Android and ios devices. Overall I still highly recommend this thermal.

I originally had the ASM 25, but had an issue with it. I called AGM and spoke with Todd. Todd, couldn't have been better to work with. Upgraded my thermal, and was responsive throughout. I was happy with my old unit, but the new Taipan is better in every way imaginable. Todd sent the RMA timely. I had some personal issues arise, and drug my feet returning the unit. Todd answered all my emails, and we spoke on the phone several times. He drove 1.5 hours to overnight my new thermal to me due to me needing it. This is not something they had to do, since it was my fault on getting the unit later than expected to them. Bottom line, I couldn't ask for better customer service, and the new unit is definitely an upgrade in everyway compared to the ASP25.

I have worked on VOx materials and thermal imagers in the past during my career, and always waited for the day when I could have one of these myself. I bought this unit since it seemed (and is) well-engineered. I was immediately impressed with all aspects of the unit. It's IP67 and 750 g/msec shock rated, making it waterproof and shock proof, which means it will withstand rigors of hard use. I am impressed with the quality of the 288 x 384 image and the reticle. No regrets whatsoever buying this sight, and I look forward to using it!

I provide NV tactics training and had an issue where I had to get another set of nvg's fast. Well looking online at social media pages for NV and looking at NVG forums everyone said stay away from AGM. I got with my friends at Kenzies Optics and picked up a pvs-14 3al1 despite the rumors because I could pick it up that day. Well after running it through multiple classes I'm extremely happy. This unit provides excellent quality and a really good picture. My only regret is letting social media and forums influence my decision. I'd love to try their dual setup.

I recently purchased the Rattler TC-35 and I am quite pleased with the unit. In the clip on mode, it took a bit to get it zeroed in with the M-4, I had to move the target VERY close, as in 20 yards or so to get the POI/POA lined up with the host optic. Once I had that Zeroed in, The same profile was dead on with the 10/22. I did have to make adjustments for the 6.8. When making adjustments between platforms, record the X & Y factors displayed, adjust, and it will return to Zero with exact repeatability each time. I can switch between platforms, re-configure the scope from clip on mode to rail mount mode adding the eye piece, set a profile with the reticle, then, re-configure the sight back to clip on mode and each profile stays dead nuts on. Clarity is great using a host optic but, clarity starts to decline at around 4X. not that big of an issue though. I would say precision shots can be made out to about 200 meters.

I own a FLIR Armasight Zeus 336, ATN Thor LT, ATN Thor 4 Pro. The only one that comes close to the Rattler is the FLIR at more than twice the price. The ATN scopes were you get what you pay for, combined with horrible support.
I had the Rattler zeroed with three rounds. The shot placement accuracy was as good as a glass scope. The product develop engineers have done an amazing job with a very small package. The images I am seeing are better than the published pictures.
