I don't own one of your scope's but from what I read and see here, WOW, they are super nice. The function and clarity is nice, easy to use and very clear, crisp viewing of any object. Any one of these would be great to put on my, 306 Remington 760 pump or on my, bolt 300 Winchester Magnum.

Had the adder out a few times and am very pleased with the performance and battery life. Very easy to use and very nice picture. I will definitely recommend to others. Also customer service has been awesome the one time I got a hold of them. If there was one issue it would be the side turret can be bumped and change your reticle pretty easily.

I am a combat veteran that’s been to Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. I have a lot of experience using both PVS 14 monoculars and goggles. I have to say that these have the smallest blems compared to issued NODs in both the military and the SWAT team I was a part of. These will definitely do the job for whatever task lays ahead. I have a PVS 14 and now these to have as my primary. I’m teaching my oldest how to use the monocular and IR lasers and illuminators. Thank you Nick the tubes are clean.

I am in love with this scope. Easy to setup and operate. Easy to sight it with just a shot or two. Menu wheel is easy to use and navigate. Best thermal for the money in my opinion. Only complaint would be at night it's hard to find the record or palette button. Usually end up turning off the scope. But otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Better than Expected

Purchased the TC19-256 from a local retail shop. This is my first thermal and I couldn't be happier. Light weight, fairly simple to use and the clarity is exceptional. It is used primarily for rat control on my farm attached to a FX Maverick PCP air rifle. Easily identifies rats out to 75 yds. First shot was a miss but I was attempting a head shot at 60 yds. Second shot did the trick. 12 rats down as fast as I could pull the trigger. The thing that amazed me was just how detailed the image was at 60 yds on the base magnification. Very simple to use, clip it on, turn it on and you are rocking. Cannot wait to put this on my AR and try it on something bigger. Scanned the back fields and spotted rabbits 300 yds away. If this is the entry level model, I cant wait to try the more powerful ones. GREAT PRODUCT!

This thermal scope is a huge upgrade from my old NV scope! No telling how may knitters I was not seeing. My only complaint is the customer service and the user manual that comes with the product. This scope is my introduction into thermal and don’t know much about it. A more robust owners manual or video library would be extremely helpful!!

I done hours of research before deciding on this. Quality is 9.5, wish there was less rubber and more metal on the body, the rubber will likely degrade over time. So far just using for observation and I can say I’m happy I saved my money on 384+ resolution. Get an external battery and have fun! I’m hoping I can get it precisely zeroed using the trajectory function.

Good budget unit, great customer service!

  • Review Add on: 08/10/2022
  • Average Rating:

I was given a TM-160 in February this year for my birthday. For a $350 thermal camera? You're getting a good deal. I can easily detect other people out to 100-150yds in cold weather and 75-100 in warmer weather. The resolution isn't fantastic but is still very usable at short range. Of course, some sacrifices have to be made for a budget thermal unit so I can give that a pass. The tripod mount somehow broke one night and much to my surprise, it totaled the scope. I sent in an RMA about one month ago, and the engineers and returns team were able to replace the whole unit at no cost to me. I don't usually write reviews, but the customer service when my device did fail was phenomenal and I felt the need to leave a review. If you keep the limitations of the lower resolution and shorter range in mind and have realistic expectations for a $350 camera? I think anyone who's interested in getting into thermal imaging but doesn't want to drop $750-$1000+ will be quite pleased with the results.

Wicked Cool Thermal

  • Review Add on: 28/09/2022
  • Average Rating:

I tried gen 1 NVG, Ive tried digital night vision as well
each has its own issues
this is by far the best available option
no more IR emitters to worry about or drag alone

sadly the 160x120 is a low resolution for maybe 100yards max
better at under 50 yards

I wish there was a green mode to simulate NVG
I find that when I remove my eye from the monocular I lose all natural night vision ability since my eye was over powered by the screen

my fears are replacing the battery when it finally goes, how long will agm provide support is the real question to how well of a value this thermal is

Great thermal at a great price

  • Review Add on: 12/09/2022

Though there are definitely better thermals out there you cannot get anything better at this price point. Amazing features, good image, I'd say it reliable out to massive 2-300 yards once you get used to it for identifying your target. Plan on buying an external battery source. 4.5 hours on cr123 batteries goes very fast. 100%recommend for anyone from entry level to experienced predator hunting.

Overall extremely happy with the unit

  • Review Add on: 28/07/2022
  • Average Rating:

I have both iRay MH25 and the new StingIR 640, and between the 2 the StingIR (In my opinion) is the better unit. The image quality seems roughly the same but a bit better on the StingIR. Looking through both units simultaneously I noticed that the StingIR have what seems like a bit of smaller picture then the MH25, but realized that's due to the fact that the MH25 is not a true 1x but slightly enlarged picture due to the front optic ocular lens zoom, while the StingIR maintains a true 1x picture. Another advantage is the ability to use 18650 in the StingIR compared to the MH25 that takes 16650 battery with extension. The StingIR has a better controls, it's lighter and the built quality is very good. note : If you planning to use 18650 "Protected" type battery be aware that the extension provided with the kit might be a bit short and tight fit. I wish AGM would included an extension cap that supports these kind of common batteries.

Guys please update the website to tell people they need to measure the outside diameter of their scope objective. My objective is a 50mm, so I thought I needed a size 3 according to your website. (unless I missed something) ...anyway customer service was helpful in making the return and exchange for a size 4.

Fantastic Performance, Fabulous Package

  • Review Add on: 21/07/2022
  • Average Rating:

I purchased the StingIR 640 for general outdoors use and have been extremely pleased with their performance and build quality. First things first, this monocular is extremely pocketable and very light. How much tech AGM jams into such a small package is impressive. The image is ultra-bright and razor sharp. The FOV is highly useful and the 8x zoom with the large sensor really delivers spotting value. The optical clarity is apparent even with the eye-cup folded down and using my glasses. Buttons and menu options are intuitive. The ability to swap CR123s and 18650s is very convenient and battery run times are consistent with the specs. (Though, I think AGM should include a few extra battery case o-rings at this price point; I may just have missed them in the lovely Pelican-like custom case.) As one would expect from a +$4K unit, these are extremely well crafted and performance oriented.

Happy Customer

  • Review Add on: 13/07/2022

I waited a long time to buy the scope. Once I saw range finder on the scope I had to pull the trigger on it. TS50-640 comes with 2.5 magnification and while I wish I could see more I marvel at how well I see what the scope is looking at. First living thing late in the evening looking into the woods was a hare 75 yards away. It was pitch black and here it was. Instructions I believe have room for improvements but device itself is gold. Also, mine did not lose zero. Great mount. I put my thermal on the rifle, zeroed, took it off and put it back on. no poi shift. life is good. One thing would be nice to add. Ability to use it on multiple rifles and ability to leave notes which rifle uses which X & Y coordinates. Even if you had to use computer to add the data. I know there are 4 usable reticles and 5th one I have no clue what it's doing there. Overall very happy with the purchase. Robust, functional thermal. I am in 21st century now

AGM 35 Rattler

  • Review Add on: 15/06/2022

Best thermal scope for the money hands down. I have shot an ATN Thor and a Pulsar XQ50 and the AGM is the clearest at 200 yards and in by far. I hunt in south Louisiana so we do not have shots further than 200 yards and this thing is perfect for what we use it for. I have it on a Sig Sauer Tread .308 and it has never strayed from zero. Also, the operating system is very user-friendly. I was unsure about this scope at first but it has blown my expectations away on how clear, user-friendly, and accurate this scope is.

Love it!

I am amateur astronomer and astro photographer and some weekends I go to observation night with my local astronomy club. That mean we are going away of light pollution city lights with a big group of person and the AGM thermal performs pretty well where you can’t even see your hands, so this device is the perfect tool for those kind of activities. I just saw a small mice walking at a distance of around 100 meters away without problem. I love the menu setting navigation and even better after the last update. This device now go with me when hiking/camping and astronomy observation nights. Love it and 100% recommended and gave 5 stars hands down!

Just purchased ts 19-256 for scanning and buddy scope . For the price you can't beat it. I used a atn Thor 4 for 3.5 yrs. Replaced it with ts25-384 out performed and so much simpler to use. So I traded the Thor for the ts19. I'm a 100yd hunter but can see 700yds .in a couple spots. Great optics Great prices if on a budget.

I bought this scope to hunt pigs in wheat fields and it is perfect. Range finder is easy to operate and accurate. Zeroing was very easy at 100yds. I used an 8" black splatter target and the image was very clear in the display. Holds zero on my .308 AR-10. The standby feature is flawless. The engineers deserve an award for this one.

Awesome unit

  • Review Add on: 28/02/2022
  • Average Rating:

I purchased this unit a little over 6 months ago now. I wanted to wait before I made me review. I’m 21 years old, so you can imagine this was a large purchase for me. There was dozens of units I was contemplating, in between the $4000-$5000 range, and I chose the AGM brand because of hours (if not days) of reddit/youtube/forum reviews of which company/brand to purchase from, AGM was my choice. The AGM 40 NL2 was the unit that fit my price range, so I made the purchase. After 6 months of night time dog walking in the woods, showing my friends and family, and night time range activities, I have absolutely no complaints. The battery life is awesome, and the built in IR flashlight works great if my external helmet IR flash light isn’t operable. the night time range operations are awesome, the goggles are put to the test between constant rifle/pistol muzzle blasts, running, sliding, and constantly flipping the goggles on and off my eyes. These goggles won’t disappoint you
