The AGM Adder Thermal Riflescopes pack all the technology and advanced electronics into the historically familiar 30mm tube riflescope housing. The Adder TS50-384 pairs a 50mm Germanium lens with an upgraded sub-35mK 384x288 thermal detector and a 1024x768 OLED display, to provide one of the best images AGM has produced to date. The combination of the 12 micron sensor with the 50mm lens also raises the base magnification of this particular model to 4X. Unlike smaller lenses with larger microns, this combination allows predator hunters to start at a higher base magnification, which eliminates the inevitable degradation of the resolution that is required for low base magnification units. Other enhancements include an astonishing 15 hours of battery life on two internal 18650 rechargeable batteries, 5 internal reticle options, and shot-activated video recording, which, when enabled, ensure that hunters forgetting to press the record button is a thing of the past!

The entire Adder product family also comes with a high-quality, one-piece, 30mm quick-detach mount from American Defense Manufacturing. These mounts allow for sliding the scope both forward and backwards to provide optimal eye relief for shooters using a wide array of different shooting platforms. FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION

Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.

Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.

Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.

NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.

Connect the thermal device to your PC with USB cable.
Turn on the thermal device.
Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot function in the device menu if WiFi is enabled.
Open the detected disk (USB drive) in file manager program. Copy the unzipped .dav file and paste it to the root directory of the device.
Turn off the device.
Turn on the device. After a while, the firmware update process will start automatically. During the update, the screen will display the inscription "Upgrading ...". The update process will be completed when the inscription "Upgrading ..." goes out. Repeat steps 4-6 for each updating file.
Turn off the device and disconnect it from your PC.

WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.

If you removed the batteries, please make sure the device is connected to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the device will shut off and may cause unnecessary upgrade failure, firmware damage, etc.

To begin the procedure for updating the firmware of your equipment, you must confirm that you are familiar with and agree to the "AGM GLOBAL VISION" Export Policy («AGM GLOBAL VISION» Export Policy). By continuing the process of updating your device, you are confirming that you received this device legally and in compliance with all applicable US export laws and that you are not on the Banned Persons List and/or are not affiliated with any of the Banned Persons as defined by the US Government.
If these conditions are met, please check the box on the left and follow the instructions for updating the hardware firmware.

Review Title: A fantastic thermal scope for coyotes AGM Adder TS50-384

The team at Outdoor Legacy had several AGM videos comparing different scopes and a few side by side comparisons of different models. Scope performance of the TS50-384, base magnification and battery life were the top 3 deciding factors in my choice of AGM scopes. My AGM Adder arrived; I sighted in to 300 yds. with 4 shots and 5 to confirm on my Rem 700 chambered in .204. I’m sure I could have sighted in with fewer shots if I were more tech savvy however; I was pleased seeing it was my 1st thermal experience. The 1st night out about 7:15 a yote came in to my caller however; he didn’t pause long enough for me to get a shot. About 20-30 minutes later a 2nd yote came in about 150 yds out, and he never left. I couldn’t be happier with my AGM Adder TS50-384 the clarity to ID and detect are outstanding and I couldn’t be more pleased with the help and customer service I have received from the team at Outdoor Legacy. If you want a badass thermal for yotes the AGM Adder fills the bill.

I have a passion for Coyote hunting. I prefer evening stands, hunting over snow or by a full moon. For several years I have been wanting to purchase a thermal optic, but couldn’t justify what I believed to be 5-7k for a worthwhile thermal scope… but I also didn’t want to buy something cheap and regret it. This scope is my favorite gun accessory. It allows me to confident identify and effectively hit targets at ranges from 0-600 yards. I believe even longer ranges could be achieved. Great product. 5 stars across the board! Praying customer service is as good if they are needed.
