I am very impressed with My new thermal. I believe it uses the same sensor as the Flir Breach, yet there is no comparison in image quality. I have a pulsar scope which I really like, but not as much as I did before looking the rough my new monocular. The image at night is close to what I see out of my PVS-14 night vision. Very detailed, great image quality. The controls are intuitive though, though a little slower to operate than my Pulsar, but really, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase..

I’ve owned several dedicated thermal scopes and the rattler is outstanding especially at this price point. It has a very good image that handles the FL heat and humidity with ease. The menu is pretty easy to navigate, it offers many options. Overall it rivals other thermal scopes 2x its price.

All I can say is - wow! I'm afraid even to take it in my hands. It looks and feels so cool and expensive. It is also packed with electronics, but at the same time - waterproof! I am sure that when the uprising of the machines begins, I will have to hide from this monster. Great device!

So far, this is the best device I have held in my hands. Yes, it is enjoyable on the hand: you can feel the weight and reliability — no mounting and runtime issues. Many people complain about the high cost, but if the device lasts for the stated period of time, the price will pay off.

Taipan is a great choice at a reasonable price. I was looking for a thermal imaging device for a very long time, watched many videos on YouTube, read lots of articles. I was looking for something for my small budget. AGM needs to promote itself better, as I found this device by accident. But, I am very pleased with my purchase

I’ve had the pleasure of using a wide range of thermals mil to civ, I feel that the seasoned (situational dependent) and new user would be pleased with the Rattler. The size and weight are great. Easy to use and simple menu. Easily hooked up via WiFi to my iPhone and iPad for streaming. I needed a way for my non thermal users to get in on the action and the Rattler does this all inclusive. I did many months of searching in the $2-4k range and I decided to go with the rattler 35 and am pleased.
I have about 200 rounds down range with this unit, zero issues.

I had a python and this Rattler sets a new standard. I purchased both my thermals from Gibson's Sporting Goods in Weatherford, TX and they really helped me through the purchasing process ensuring I got what I wanted. The clarity on this scope is so clear that I would even consider it to be both night vision and thermal. The python is a great thermal scope but I feel AGM took what was lacking in the python and improved it in the Rattler. User functions are easier and more defined. The large padded buttons are easy to feel and find in the dark. The battery lock is so much better and easier to lock down on this model. I use my Rattler for scouting and I take it outside almost nightly to look around and see what is moving around. For the money, you cannot go wrong with this thermal!

A Solid Choice

I have had the pleasure of using the 35mm micro python for around 100 hours of run time. The thermal is great, does everything I expect it to do. AGM as a whole holds a low market share in the thermal market, for what i feel they are worthy of.
The only real complaint I have with this thermal is that of the eye cup. It has a tendency to fall off, as there is no way to secure it that I am aware of. A relatively minor thing when the rest of the build quality is exceptional.

I may be too positive, and besides, this is my first thermal imaging device, but I'm just happy that I got it. It provided me with everything I need and much more. In our company, only I have a monocular and guys are constantly asked to borrow it, although before buying everyone laughed that I wanted to pay "huge pile" of money for a useless device)

I don't understand much about this technique. I bought it as a gift for my husband, and I conclude that he feels lots of joy using it. Of the minuses - now I practically don't see my husband since he goes hunting at the first opportunity. On the plus side, I haven't seen him so happy for a long time.

My rating is B. It is difficult to say what the disadvantages are with this device. It performs its task quite well, but it seemed to me that it is too large and the batteries do not hold a charge as long as I would like. If the price were lower, I would not pay attention, but I want everything to be perfect with such a price tag.

1. The diopter knob is cheaply made.
2. No Lens cloth came with the product. For the price, one should have came with the product.
3. Over priced for the size, feel and looks.
4. For the price of the product, you would expect a quality pouch.
5. Talked to customer service before I purchased the product and a sales person was supposed to contact me. - No returned call.
5. For this price, there should be video tutorials, to be more professionally represented.
Overall the product functions well, I just wish the items above will be improved in the future.

I have been using this product for about a month now and really enjoy it. When coyote hunting I am easily picking up the heat at 500 yards, and able to identify the coyotes around 250 yards. Most of the use has been fairly rough. My only negative is that the little nob that adjusted the diopter fell off the first night, but, that hasn’t caused me any problems yet. Overall good product for the money and hope it keeps holding up.

Have only had it out once since receiving it yesterday but in that one time it was amazing in what I could pick up while walking around the deserts of southern AZ, going to be a game changer for my hunting everything from small game such as rabbits to larger mule deer.

Perfect in good weather condition and very poor in fog and rain

I have had the TM25-384 for a year now and have mixed feelings - in perfect weather condition it is brilliant - clear and sharp but it is extremely sensitive to fog and rain. I know thermal equipment is struggling in bad weather, but I have tried similar priced unit perform better in bad weather conditions. My next unit will not be a AGM.

Effective and good enough visual output. Just remember to use the little knob on the side to focus the picture. I use this for acquiring movement when I'm feral hog hunting at night with a rifle mounted thermal night vision scope (DS Arms FAL .308 with a thermal night vision scope... Very heavy setup.). It's a lot easier to handle this light monocular to detect movement and when you do, switch over to your rifle with a thermal or other night vision scope that has better resolution and a reticle. This makes hunting feral hogs at night much easier. I wish I had found it sooner! Great product and great price. Can't go wrong. Read the directions and you won't have any trouble and you won't be disappointed as long as you don't expect it to work like a $2,000 unit. Acquire movement. Then switch to main machinery!

You really get a lot for your money with this unit. The housing is a little different than a pvs 14, and that makes mounting options pretty limited. The blems in my tube are very small and minimal, and you can't see them at all in actual use. If you are a hog hunter this is the perfect solution to get good performance without Gen 3 prices.

This came to me initially with the 4-pin connector, but my dovetail wouldn't click in place, so I had to trade it for the new 9-pin polymer and the new 9-pin battery pack.
I like the look of the metal one with its 4 pin connection, but the 9-pin is where they changed their design so there has to be a reason. All good imo.
This is a snug fit inthe battery compartment of my mohawk, and once inserted it doesn't wiggle or wobble around inside of it. The cabling is more than long enough, and turning to aux battery is a simple twist of a knob, Left for left bank and right turn for the right bank.
So far I don't have issues, there is a positive feel then you rotate the on/off switch. The connectors thus far is a good lock up and are just as easy to pull apart. But this one can be a bit of a pain in the azz when you go to remove you goggles from your mount. Each time you have to reroute the cable each time to avoid a snag point. That however is a minor inconvenience.
