I bought a TS35-640 rattler and the core failed the first hunt I took it on which was very disappointing since my hunt/ trip was pretty much ruined but I wanted to provide a review on the customer service since it was better than I could ever expect. Always a person ready to help on the phone and I got a new unit in my hands within 3 days of filling out the RMA form. I feel very confident buying expensive gear from AGM and they have a customer for life.

Impressive unit for the money

Performance per dollar is great here. I use it for coyote hunting out to 200 yards. The menu is intuitive, the display resolution is crisp once adjusted properly, and the sensor picks up anything you point it at in great detail. I was a bit apprehensive about the polymer construction, but once I got my hands on it I learned it's some kind of fiberglass composite, super light and durable. All of the included accessories are great, especially the weapon mount.

I've had 3 thermals in my brief history of thermals. I have two AGM Rattlers a 25-256 and this the 35-640. First, I'd like to say AGM has some wonderful Quality. The build of both Rattlers is perfect. Second, I have to say that the image quality is just as good as any other comparable Thermal on the market. Third, the mount that AGM includes in the Rattlers is amazing, zero is always dead on every time I take the scope off the rail... Finally, I will talk about the 640... This thing is amazing, eye-popping detail, detection and identification are effortless. It's the exact same package as all of the other Rattlers!

I have never owned an optic of this caliber! This thing is sweet! The imagery is amazing! The night and day in one optic is awesome! Very well built! The quality of the build is great and very sturdy! What you get for your money is an insane imagery in a day and night optic that is well worth the buy!

Rattler TS25-384

We have been begging the industy for someone to step forward and provide an affordable option in thermal imaging and AGM has done an outstanding job bringing to market the Rattler series. As with any products of this caliber, it is inevitable that there can be a small hiccup here or there with the amount of technology, lenses, and build materials in these scopes. Unfortunately, my unit was one of the that had a software glitch that was unable to be resolved over the phone with Sky at technical support. After some determination that the unit needed to be sent in, I immediately was sent an RMA and within a week, I received the unit back in perfect working order. You a can tell a lot about a company based upon how true their word is by honoring and standing behind their product when something may go sideways. I will be a life long AGM customer moving foward based upon the excellent customer service and promptness to get me back up and running. Thank you AGM!

I got this for a backup option for my Nvision Halo which is awesome but you have to have your face glued to the rifle all time. With the stingIR helmet mounted you can relax and where ever you look you see anything with a pulse.
I haven't used it a bunch yet but I like it for sure. My only complaints....there's nowhere to attach a d-ring or a bungle attachment point so you don't lose it if it falls off. Pretty expensive piece of kit to not be able to put a bungle on it.
The other fail is the rubber eye cup...you breathe on it and it falls off. With a little effort it could be made to stay attached. There's really no good way to make it stay attached. I lost it the first night.

I love this scope! It's very clear,clicks on the picatinny rail and is very secure. Very well built, very nice soft case. I really love the scope. However, trying to figure out how to use it as a new user of thermals, I find the directions to be extremely difficult to follow, and there's no "How To" video's specifically for the TS35 384 LRF Varmint. So, I'm struggling to figure out how to best use the scope.

It is most effective for spotting and hunting as well as a perfect hand-held unit.

Out of the box, I was very impressed. Extremely good packaging and heave padded case offered excellent protection. The unit is stout, sturdy, and well built. Menu settings were easy to understand and change. Battery charger is well made, and the digital readout for capacity is a nice touch. Overall, very pleased with this unit. The clarity is unreal.

First thermal - no complaints

This is my very first thermal. I wanted to get something above entry level and this hasn't disappointed. Initially it was a little fuzzy but a firmware update took care of that issue. I have taken several coyotes with no concerns. Warning: Once you go down the road of thermals you'll never be the same again. I am pleased with the purchase it has achieved exactly what I wanted. The quality is not quite what the top end thermals are but again it is mid level - it should not be capable of living up to thermals twice the price. No complaints on the product or the service - AGM has produced a fine product.

A fantastic thermal scope for coyotes AGM Adder TS50-384

The team at Outdoor Legacy had several AGM videos comparing different scopes and a few side by side comparisons of different models. Scope performance of the TS50-384, base magnification and battery life were the top 3 deciding factors in my choice of AGM scopes. My AGM Adder arrived; I sighted in to 300 yds. with 4 shots and 5 to confirm on my Rem 700 chambered in .204. I’m sure I could have sighted in with fewer shots if I were more tech savvy however; I was pleased seeing it was my 1st thermal experience. The 1st night out about 7:15 a yote came in to my caller however; he didn’t pause long enough for me to get a shot. About 20-30 minutes later a 2nd yote came in about 150 yds out, and he never left. I couldn’t be happier with my AGM Adder TS50-384 the clarity to ID and detect are outstanding and I couldn’t be more pleased with the help and customer service I have received from the team at Outdoor Legacy. If you want a badass thermal for yotes the AGM Adder fills the bill.

Adder TS35-384 “Thermal Excellence”!

I recently upgraded my coyote hunting game with the purchase of the AGM Adder TS35-384. What a huge leap from the night vision setup I was using before. This scope is awesome and excels in almost every way over its competitors in the same price range. I have truly enjoyed my short time with this device and consider it money well spent. It is the perfect scope for my entry into the thermal category. AGM stands behind their products as well. I had questions about upgrading the firmware on the Adder and reached out to their customer service via Messenger chat. It was after hours and because of that I didn’t even communicate what I needed in the message attempt. An AGM representative messaged me the very next morning to see if they could help me in any way. The representative answered all my questions and was a pleasure to speak with as well. AGM is a solid company and worthy of your investment if you’re in the market for a new optic device.

It's a learning experience...

I love it, the image quality is better than what the Army lets me use, and doubly so after the firmware upgrade. I didn't expect it to be such a huge difference, but wow, the firmware is vastly improved after the update. The menu button lag is gone, the image is better, and I'm looking forward to trying out the new zeroing routine.
Caveat Emptor: I didn't read the manual, and when I plugged it in to the USB on my laptop the computer just made a click and died. But, it's ok, I found a BIOS reset button on my laptop's motherboard and all is well, no harm no foul. I read the manual finally, to discover that it says REMOVE THE BATTERY BEFORE PLUGGING IT IN!!! I am the dummy, sure, but how is that even possible?

Just got back from a 5 night hog hunt. This thermal works great detecting hogs out to 300-400 yards when we were spot & stalking the hogs on the roads at night. We could see the rabbits and even the mice when they would run out onto the road to get a piece of corn. It's light enough to fit comfortably on my helmet. I can't say enough good about this thermal. My other 5 hog hunting buddies were all very impressed.
