The Rattler TS19-256 is a perfect addition to any hunter's arsenal. Equipped with a 19mm germanium lens and a 256x192 resolution thermal sensor, this unit has a detection range of 1250 yards, and a base magnification of 2.5X. This base magnification, combined with a wide field of view, makes this scope a truly versatile optic. The Rattler series of thermal scopes were specifically designed to be compact and lightweight, as this not only ensures its small footprint can be used on a multitude of shooting platforms, but also gives the series secondary use as a thermal monocular as well.

This unit also comes packed with all the features that many Rattler users have come to expect, which include: built-in recording and picture capture capabilities, Wi-Fi hotspot, 8X digital zoom, Picture-in-picture, AGM Connect app compatibility for storing and sharing images and videos, one-shot digital zeroing process, 4.5 hours of battery life on (2) CR123 batteries, external power capability through the unit’s USB-C plug and a high-quality American Defense Manufacturing quick detach mount which quickly allows users to seamlessly shift from riflescope to monocular quickly and easily.

Firmware update

FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION

Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.

Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.

Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.

NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.

Connect the thermal device to your PC with USB cable.
Turn on the thermal device.
Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot function in the device menu if WiFi is enabled.
Open the detected disk (USB drive) in file manager program. Copy the unzipped .dav file and paste it to the root directory of the device.
Turn off the device.
Turn on the device. After a while, the firmware update process will start automatically. During the update, the screen will display the inscription "Upgrading ...". The update process will be completed when the inscription "Upgrading ..." goes out. Repeat steps 4-6 for each updating file.
Turn off the device and disconnect it from your PC.

WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.

If you removed the batteries, please make sure the device is connected to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the device will shut off and may cause unnecessary upgrade failure, firmware damage, etc.

To begin the procedure for updating the firmware of your equipment, you must confirm that you are familiar with and agree to the "AGM GLOBAL VISION" Export Policy («AGM GLOBAL VISION» Export Policy). By continuing the process of updating your device, you are confirming that you received this device legally and in compliance with all applicable US export laws and that you are not on the Banned Persons List and/or are not affiliated with any of the Banned Persons as defined by the US Government.
If these conditions are met, please check the box on the left and follow the instructions for updating the hardware firmware.

First time going with Thermal. Tried the ATN LT, image just wasn't clear. The difference between 160 resolution vs 256 resolution is worth the small additional cost. My only complaint is with customer service. I have a question with Firmware I need answered. Sent them an email from this web site a week ago with no response. Called and left a message 3 days ago and still no response. Must be the Holiday season....can't go wrong with AGM...

I've had the TS19-256 for a few months now, and love this optics for short range hunting at night! I've moved it back and forth between a few different rifles and the American Defense mounts truly holds the zero.

Just purchased ts 19-256 for scanning and buddy scope . For the price you can't beat it. I used a atn Thor 4 for 3.5 yrs. Replaced it with ts25-384 out performed and so much simpler to use. So I traded the Thor for the ts19. I'm a 100yd hunter but can see 700yds .in a couple spots. Great optics Great prices if on a budget.

Bought this a couple weeks ago and let me just say, this scope is AWESOME!! Guaranteed you won’t find any better for the price!! The features on this were more than I thought!! It has been a lot of fun being mounted on my AR-15 and hunting coyotes at night!!
