Clear picture, video recording works great and the AGM app makes it even better. Scope update added more crosshair options which is nice. Battery life is good if not recording or streaming. Bought a power pack and now I have no issues at all and honestly haven’t charged it in a month with hunting several nights a week. The identification range is about 200 ish yards but can spot heat signatures from at least 800 yards (as far as I’ve used it) The sight in process is pretty easy now that I have a pretty good method. Holds a zero very well as much as I beat it around. Would definitely buy again.

AGM 35 Rattler

Best thermal scope for the money hands down. I have shot an ATN Thor and a Pulsar XQ50 and the AGM is the clearest at 200 yards and in by far. I hunt in south Louisiana so we do not have shots further than 200 yards and this thing is perfect for what we use it for. I have it on a Sig Sauer Tread .308 and it has never strayed from zero. Also, the operating system is very user-friendly. I was unsure about this scope at first but it has blown my expectations away on how clear, user-friendly, and accurate this scope is.

I own a FLIR Armasight Zeus 336, ATN Thor LT, ATN Thor 4 Pro. The only one that comes close to the Rattler is the FLIR at more than twice the price. The ATN scopes were you get what you pay for, combined with horrible support.
I had the Rattler zeroed with three rounds. The shot placement accuracy was as good as a glass scope. The product develop engineers have done an amazing job with a very small package. The images I am seeing are better than the published pictures.

I’ve had the pleasure of using a wide range of thermals mil to civ, I feel that the seasoned (situational dependent) and new user would be pleased with the Rattler. The size and weight are great. Easy to use and simple menu. Easily hooked up via WiFi to my iPhone and iPad for streaming. I needed a way for my non thermal users to get in on the action and the Rattler does this all inclusive. I did many months of searching in the $2-4k range and I decided to go with the rattler 35 and am pleased.
I have about 200 rounds down range with this unit, zero issues.

I had a python and this Rattler sets a new standard. I purchased both my thermals from Gibson's Sporting Goods in Weatherford, TX and they really helped me through the purchasing process ensuring I got what I wanted. The clarity on this scope is so clear that I would even consider it to be both night vision and thermal. The python is a great thermal scope but I feel AGM took what was lacking in the python and improved it in the Rattler. User functions are easier and more defined. The large padded buttons are easy to feel and find in the dark. The battery lock is so much better and easier to lock down on this model. I use my Rattler for scouting and I take it outside almost nightly to look around and see what is moving around. For the money, you cannot go wrong with this thermal!
