The Asp handheld observational thermal monocular is equipped with a 640×512 infrared detector and a 1024×768 OLED display. It supports functions of observation, hot spot tracking, distance measurement, Wi-Fi hotspot, and so on. The high-sensitivity built-in thermal detector provides you with clear view even in total darkness. The monocular is mainly applied to scenarios such as patrolling, law enforcement, searching and rescuing, drug enforcement, anti-smuggling, criminal seizing, hiking, travel, and hunting, etc.

Firmware update

FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION

Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.

Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.

Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.

NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.

Connect the thermal device to your PC with USB cable.
Turn on the thermal device.
Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot function in the device menu if WiFi is enabled.
Open the detected disk (USB drive) in file manager program. Copy the unzipped .dav file and paste it to the root directory of the device.
Turn off the device.
Turn on the device. After a while, the firmware update process will start automatically. During the update, the screen will display the inscription "Upgrading ...". The update process will be completed when the inscription "Upgrading ..." goes out. Repeat steps 4-6 for each updating file.
Turn off the device and disconnect it from your PC.

WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.

If you removed the batteries, please make sure the device is connected to the computer during the update process. Otherwise, the device will shut off and may cause unnecessary upgrade failure, firmware damage, etc.

To begin the procedure for updating the firmware of your equipment, you must confirm that you are familiar with and agree to the "AGM GLOBAL VISION" Export Policy («AGM GLOBAL VISION» Export Policy). By continuing the process of updating your device, you are confirming that you received this device legally and in compliance with all applicable US export laws and that you are not on the Banned Persons List and/or are not affiliated with any of the Banned Persons as defined by the US Government.
If these conditions are met, please check the box on the left and follow the instructions for updating the hardware firmware.

Please check the latest firmware. Click the FW Version to download the firmware update package.

I have a company called Southern Shooting Center. In the past few months I have shot 7 thermal weapon sights from AGM. On one unit I overlooked a crucial step and was confused. I called Alec at AGM and in less than a minute he told me what I skipped. I went back to the bench and quickly had that solved. I am totally impressed with both Alec and Todd about how quickly they can be reached and solve your problem or give you information That you need. The next thing I decided was that I liked the TM35x640 specifications,so I ordered one. Again I was totally impressed,because I had one from a different company that I wasn’t happy with. I have been in business for 46 yrs,and owned my own range for 22yrs. I never had the notion to do reviews before,but I have never had the service from a big company before. Thanks go out to Alec and Todd.
