Description And features

The NEW Spectrum LRF 4K digital day & night vision scope from AGM utilizes many of the features that shooters have come to know and love in the Spectrum-IR, but with one big addition: a 1,000-meter integrated laser rangefinder (LRF). This feature helps alleviate a common issue many shooters find themselves experiencing when hunting with any sort of digital optic, and that is the lack of depth perception that is inherent in optics utilizing a digital screen. The Spectrum LRF 4K pairs that LRF functionality with an advanced high-resolution 3840×2160 detector, which works in conjunction with a high quality 1920x1080 OLED display. The Spectrum LRF 4K is one step in the continuous evolution of full color digital electro-optics. New and improved 4K digital sensors are now naturally more sensitive to infrared than older models once were, which means the unit should require much less external Infrared light while used in night mode. The incredible new adjustable aperture provides traditional daytime hunters with increased low light gathering capabilities that exceed that of some of the highest-quality traditional glass hunting optics. The Spectrum is literally built for prime, legal daytime hunting hours in the precious minutes just after sunrise and just prior to sunset. Powered by two internal rechargeable 18650 and one additional replaceable 18650 batteries, the 11hr battery life supplies users with more than enough time behind the eyepiece during hunting season. This unit is also one of AGM’s first to utilize a semi-circular display, an on board ballistic calculator and 1000yard integrated laser rangefinder, as well. Along with the new 4k high resolution CMOS sensor, we thought it prudent to also update the internal storage capacity, which now comes in at a robust 64GB, which will come in handy when recording in higher resolution. If you’re looking for an exceptionally capable technological optic, the Spectrum LRF 4K is the perfect addition to your arsenal.

Firmware Updates

FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTRUCTION

Please read the instructions below before updating the firmware.

Check current firmware version of your device, for this go to your device’s main menu to option “Info” or “Version” and check what number you have. Compare the number with the latest version of the firmware on the AGM website.

Download the firmware update package to your PC and unzip it.

NOTE: Do not open the DAV or BIN file on your computer as it may corrupt the file.

  1. Connect the thermal device to your PC with USB cable.
  2. Turn on the thermal device.
  3. Disable the Wi-Fi Hotspot function in the device menu if WiFi is enabled.
  4. Open the detected disk (USB drive) in file manager program. Copy the unzipped .dav file and paste it to the root directory of the device.
  5. Turn off the device.
  6. Turn on the device. After a while, the firmware update process will start automatically. During the update, the screen will display the inscription "Upgrading ...". The update process will be completed when the inscription "Upgrading ..." goes out. Repeat steps 4-6 for each updating file.
  7. Turn off the device and disconnect it from your PC.

WARNING:
If your device does not have a built-in rechargeable battery and is powered by replaceable Lithium batteries, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before connecting the device to your PC, or it may cause computer damage.

    Firmware Versions:

    • V5.5.156_260326

      1.        Main updates:

      1. Updated for only Spectrum LRF 4K to implement and align with new functionality.

      ① LRF Box Display Update:
      - Add the Rangefinding Reticle Style option in the Laser Ranging. (3 types)

      - Add the Rangefinding Reticle Color option in the Laser Ranging. (8 colors)

② Add reticle Opacity adjustment option. There are a total of 5 gear levels.

③ Privacy and Device Security Updates (CE-RED Directive Update)

④ Fixed the issue of small-angle jumps of the BDC impact point.

⑤ Fixed other minor defects on digital scopes to improve usability.

      2. Update all four models. (RattlerV3, AdderV2, Evolver & Spectrum LRF 4K)

① Supports using the shortcut key combination(LRF + Capture) to quickly enable/disable ballistic calculation in the main preview interface. (When the Reticle is enabled)

② "Opacity" has been renamed to "Reticle Brightness."
③ Fixed the rangefinding info overlapped with the rangefinding reticle under specific conditions.

④ Fixed minor defects during integration with the AGM Connect APP.

      3. Update for only thermal scopes RattlerV3, AdderV2, Evolver.

① The working logic of the PIP view center has been updated.

When ballistic calculation is enabled, the PIP view will be centered around the BDC impact point. This resolves the issue where the BDC impact point goes outside the PIP view when zooming in or at long distances.

      Note:

When BC is not enabled, the logic remains unchanged. The PIP center will still follow the priority order: Reticle Center / LRF Rangefinding Reticle / Main View Center.

Due to differences in functionality and hardware across models, the implementation of this feature may vary between different models.

      1.        384 models: When BC is enabled, the PIP view will always center around the BDC impact point.

      2.        1280 models: When BC is enabled, the PIP view will always center around the BDC impact point. (AdderV2-1280 & Evolver)

      3.        640 models: Due to underlying algorithm limitations, this feature conflicts with the Zoom Pro functionality on the 640 model.

Therefore, an improvement solution will be implemented on the 640 models.

      When ballistic calculation is enabled:

If Zoom Pro is not enabled, the PIP will center around the BDC impact point.

If Zoom Pro is enabled, the PIP will switch to being centered around the reticle center.

A prompt will be displayed to the user when enabling/disabling Zoom Pro.
