Is Your Firmware Up to Date? — 2026 Firmware Recap
Two firmware updates went out this year. If you've got a RattlerV3, AdderV2, Evolver1280, or a Spectrum 4K LRF, make sure you've got the latest update.
The update is free, it runs through the AGM Connect app, and it takes a few minutes. Easier to do now than the night before a hunt.
Check your firmware in AGM Connect
Before you start, write down your zero coordinates and ballistic data for every profile you use. You shouldn't lose them. Write them down anyway.
- Open AGM Connect and tap the profile icon in the top left corner.
- You'll see the optics you've connected before. If yours isn't on the list, turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot on the optic and connect it to the app.
- Tap your model name. That screen shows your model, serial number, current firmware version, and FPGA version.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Check for Update.
- If an update is available, the app will tell you and walk you through it.
